Intelligent Agent Programming
This is the project report for the lecture CE431 Artificial Intelligence at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. It describes several experiments performed using a robot simulator with custom extensions in C/C++. Various search strategies (depth-first, breadth-first, A*-search, two-tier) as well as a reflex-based strategy to find a way through a labyrinth to a given goal have been implemented.
Abstract
The Khepera simulator models a robot that moves in an abstract grid world, trying to reach a defined goal. As part of several experiments, various goal-based and reflex-based strategies for this robot have been implemented. This project report explains the strategies developed and summarizes the results achieved.
