19/11/2001: World Toilet Summit
From November 19th to November 21st, Singapore Expo will be hosting the first World Toilet Summit, together with the Restroom Asia 2001 exhibition. The summit will be held under the inspiring motto
Our Toilets - The Past, The Present and The FutureTalking about toilets should not be a taboo anymore in order to improve the situation the 40 percent of the world's population that do not have access to flushing toilets. Besides these problems, design and comfort issues will also be discussed. A tour of local public toilets in Singapore is planned.
I definitely recommend a visit to toinet.org. You just have to see the cutie toilet menu ;-)
Astonishingly enough, I didn't see a "call for (toilet) papers" on the website, though.
