findperl outputs information about the perl interpreters installed on the machine it is running on. It is especially useful if you have to install perl scripts on a machine you don't know yet. findperl will probably not run on a Microsoft Windows operating system and was sucessfully tested on Linux, FreeBSD, HP-UX and Solaris. You can see a sample output by running findperl on this machine. The most recent version is findperl 0.1 beta. You can download it as tar/gz archive. findperl-0.1.beta.tar.gz (1 KB) findperl does not need any installation routine. Just copy the script into a directory where CGI scripts can be run and make sure it is marked executable. If you're using findperl, I would love to hear from you.
